| General Information: | Angra lies on the south coast of Terceira island. By day Monte Brasil is conspicuous. By night, if approaching from west, Monte Brasil light will not be seen until bearing 057º. The marina is located on the east side of the bay, protected by a breakwater. |
| Entrance: | Approach to the harbour on the leading line bearing 342º, front and rear lights from Angra do Heroísmo, Once the mole¿s light is abeam to starboard, swing to the right and head to the entrance of the marina. The anchorage on the west side of the bay by Baixa da Prainha may be dangerous and unpleasant when swell sets in with winds south and east. |
