| General Information: | The harbour is placed 2Km from Sesimbra and is well protected by 900m breakwater. The major marks are Cabo Espichel and Forte do Cavalo lights. Approaching from the north an offing to the coast of 0,5M should be given. Caution to be taken to submarine cable area where anchorage is prohibited. Very often occur strong local northerlies, which get up in the late afternoon. |
