| General Information: | Funchal lies on the south coast of the Ilha da Madeira. The marina is placed inside the harbour partially protected by the Pontinha breakwater, 1,000m long. The reception pontoon lies on the starboard hand inside the entrance. The main references are the lights Pontinha, S. Lourenço in the east and Ponta do Pargo in the west. |
| Entrance: | The approach to the harbour has no particular difficulty. Once passed the Pontinha breakwater, the marina is located NW and its narrow entrance, facing WSW, is defined by two lit moles. |
